Owners in NABL perform all general manager functions of his or her club, including drafts, trades and roster adjustments. NABL games will be simmed 2 times a week , the results are then uploaded to the website. There are two leagues, a 16 team AL and 16 team NL with two divisions in each league (do to game restrictions with divisional alignment). The AL will use the DH only.
*Participant Responsibilities*
1. Commissioner:
The NABL commissioner is responsible for all aspects of this league, which include simulating games each week, performing off-season activities, and decision making regarding league policies for the NABL. The commissioner can also be an active owner in the league. The commissioner will also respond to every message sent to him.
2. Co-Commissioner
The Co-Commish will perform the duties of Commish when he is absent. Send trades to the co-commish, who will then forward any questionable trades to the commish.
3. Owners/General Managers:
It is not required that all Owners have a copy of FPSBB98.
Owners may not switch teams
Each Owner is responsible for the daily operation of his/her team. This includes sending at least 1 email a week to the Commissioner even if there are no roster moves to submit.
If an Owner has not sent email to the commissioner for 2 consecutive weeks he/she will be subject to loss of ownership. He/she will be sent a notice regarding possible loss of ownership. The Owner will then have 1 week to reply to the message. If no reply is received, then automatic removal will be enforced.
If an Owner is going to be without access for an extended period of time, he/she must contact the Commissioner. Roster changes for the team will only be allowed for injuries.
All trading involving that team will be on hold until the owner returns.
If an owner is removed from the league, or there are teams available, the computer will be allowed to control all aspects of that teams business only if there is no one waiting to take control of that team that does not already own a team in this league.
*Player Injuries
All injuries are decided by the computer. If one of your players is injured during the course of simming games, the most likely substitute will replace the injured player. You may then adjust this before the next sim.

Free Agents can be picked up throughout the year. If two or more teams claim the player, he goes to the team with the worst record.
Their will be a free agant draft from year to year. Here are the guidelines -FA's are players of 6, 9, 12, 15 years experience. -Each team can assign one franchise player. This player will never become a FA. He can be traded, and then a new franchise player can be chosen. However, the franchise designation cannot be altered until the current franchise player is either traded, released or retires. After that a team has one free resign of one of their own FA's, then resigns will start costing picks.
